It happens only in India...

A famous actress, who also happens to be an ex-Miss Universe, was called to the civic headquarters in relation to a case filed against her. When she visited the office, she was welcomed with flowers. I have never heard of anyone being welcomed with flowers, especially when you happen to be embroiled in such issues and land up at the civic headquarters for investigations. I have nothing personal against her. Even I admire her - for obvious and not-so-obvious reasons... But still yaar. I mean, will any common man or for that matter even a not-so-common man be provided with the same treatment? If yes, then its total kudos to the civic body. If not, then atleast the officers of the civic headquarters had a wonderful day with a celebrity in their midst...
